BRTA offers technical assistance to member organizations for telehealth equipment and software, ensuring access to the technical expertise needed to operate and troubleshoot telehealth systems effectively.
BRTA connects health care providers and students with skills building on how to use telehealth technologies effectively, ensuring that member organizations have the knowledge and skills needed to provide high-quality telehealth services to their patients.
BRTA facilitates funding research, grant application development, funder relations and reporting to support member organizations obtain funding for collaborative programming to implement virtual health strategies, workforce development and service delivery.
BRTA monitors and communicates with members about public policies that impact the evolving landscape of virtual health care delivery and reimbursement for services.
BRTA supports Telehealth Project Implementation so its members can focus on successful adoption and implementation initiatives which include virtual health technology.
BRTA connects patients and healthcare providers to expert consultations, expanding care to specialty disciplines and practitioners which are unavailable in their local community.
Bay Rivers Telehealth Alliance (BRTA) is a non-profit telehealth network that supports virtual health projects to improve health and health care in eastern Virginia communities.
